All Solid Mahogany Construction
The All Solid Mahogany construction is what contributes to the sonic character of the instrument and any fully solid ukulele ( that is routinely played) is only going to get better with time. Mahogany is a warm sounding wood which is highly preferred for ukuleles.
Techwood Fretboard for Smooth Playability
The Vault Performer Pro All Solid Mahogany Premium Concert Ukulele features a Techwood Fretboard, giving an even and smooth feel as you move along. It comes with Aquila strings that produce an exceptionally bright tone and a vibrant sound.
Premium Tuners with OX Bone Nut and Saddle
The ukulele stays in tune over long periods thanks to the Die-Cast Chrome Tuners and the strings passing over OX bone nut and saddle, giving you great resonance and sustain.
Bigger Frets for Ease of Playing
The Vault Performer Pro Ukulele has medium frets (W=2.0mm) for added comfort and ease of playing. The wider and taller frets let you fret notes with less effort and give you a better playing experience.
Dual Action Truss Rod
A feature rarely seen on ukuleles, the Performer Pro Ukuleles come with a dual action truss rod which gives you the liberty to adjust the relief of the neck in either direction. This extends the life of your instrument by countering neck movement caused due to weather changes.
High Gloss Finish
This ukulele comes sealed in a natural high gloss finish which allows you to see the grains of the solid Mahogany while keeping it protected from dust and moisture. An instrument that is built to last through time and refine with age.
Aquila Super Nylgut Strings
Super Nylgut sets have a fascinating pearly color and a smooth and pleasant surface under the fingers like a natural wax. They are quite soft but at the same time less stretchable, so they are easier to bring to the desired note and even when new, they keep the intonation in check. In addition, Super Nylgut is stronger and is therefore less sensitive to any sharp corners of the nut, it dents less against the frets or when played with the fingernails.
Double C2U Pickup
The Double C2U is a combination of a piezo and transducer with an active preamp powered by 2x CR2032 3V batteries giving you more than 80 hours of performance. This pickup features a volume and mic control at the soundhole which will let you choose between the piezo and transducer pickup or blend in both to get the desired sound. The transducer pickup captures the natural tone and warmth you would want to have on your record and complements the dynamic of finger picking.
