DIR Zone Active Control Ballast System
The DIR Zone active control ballast system of ACB allows up to 6kg of weight to be ditched quickly in an emergency whilst being carried in a more comfortable manner than a weight belt. When attached the DIRZone ACB system provides a backplate and harness with an integrated weight system whilst the hip d-ring in the correct place. Large pinch clips allows the weight pockets to be slid out easily in an emergency for quick ditching of weight. DIR Zone ACB Features:
- Pockets carry 3kg each for 6kg total ditchable weight
- Large pinch clips for easy manipulation
- Fixing bolts for attachment to a backplate
- D-Ring on left hand pocket
- Made from abrasion resistant cordura
ACB pockets allow weight to be carried in a manner that is much more comfortable than a weight belt and also avoids confusion if a buddy has to ditch another divers weight as they do not have a choice of two buckles to worry about. A simple undoing of the large easy to grab pinch clips and a pull on the webbing handle easily releases up to 6kg of weight from a diver.
